Teramo About this sound listen is a city and comune in the central Italian region of Abruzzo, the capital of the province of Teramo.The city, 150 kilometres from Rome, is situated between the highest mountain of the Apennines and the Adriatic coast. It is indeed one of the few places where it is possible to reach both the sunny beaches of the Adriatic and the 3,000 metres snowcapped Gran Sasso peaks within half an hour from the city centre.
